Physical Development
This includes the development of gross motor skills, such as crawling, walking, running, jumping, as well as fine motor skills, such as grasping small objects, manipulating toys, and using eating utensils.
Cognitive Development
Focuses on the development of thinking, understanding and problem solving. At this age, children are actively exploring their environment, learning basic concepts of cause and effect, and developing early classification and association skills.

Language and Communication Development:
2-year-old children are in a critical period for language development. They are expanding their vocabulary, beginning to combine words into simple sentences, and understanding and responding to simple instructions.
Socioemotional Development
This aspect covers the development of social, emotional and self-control skills. Children of this age begin to show interest in interacting with other children, develop shared play skills, recognize and express basic emotions, and learn to regulate their own emotions.

Sensory and Perceptual Development
Refers to the way children perceive and interpret the world through their senses. This includes the development of vision, hearing, touch, taste and smell, as well as the ability to process and interpret sensory information.
Development of Self-Help and Autonomy
children are beginning to develop self-care skills, such as dressing, feeding themselves, and using the bathroom independently. They are also learning to make simple decisions and develop a sense of autonomy in their daily activities.
